clairpointe family dental is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Saint Clair, MI

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist by handing them instruments during procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:
- Anatomy knowledge
- Medical terminology
- Pediatric dentistry experience is a plus
- Ability to perform patient assessment tasks
- Proficient in infection control protocols
- Familiarity with taking X-Rays and vital signs
- Experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Skilled in medical documentation practices
