Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for managing staff, implementing marketing strategies, and driving sales growth.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations
- Manage and motivate a team of retail associates
- Ensure excellent customer service by providing product knowledge and resolving customer inquiries or complaints
- Implement marketing initiatives to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Recruit, train, and develop new employees
- Conduct employee orientation and provide ongoing training
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and visual merchandising
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and meet targets
- Knowledge of inventory management principles
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
