Position Overview:

CJWinter is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our team as a Sales Engineer. This role will be instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence through technical sales of our thread rolling products through strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude to develop a deep understanding of our products and their applications, coupled with strong communication skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and sound business judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Find, identify, and develop sales opportunities for CJWinter's thread rolling products. Included with this will be developing, refining, and leveraging new and existing traditional and digital marketing channels, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  2. Collaborate closely with the sales and engineering team to identify customer needs and provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, training sessions, and customer consultations.
  3. Work closely with product development teams to provide customer feedback about machining and thread rolling needs, inform product roadmap decisions, and contribute to the development of new products and features.
  4. Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies in machining and thread rolling, and regulatory requirements to ensure CJWinter remains at the forefront of innovation and compliance.
  5. Learn about and understand the competitive marketplace for CJWinter's thread rolling products and services to identify market trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for product differentiation.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry influencers, and partners, serving as a trusted advisor and technical resource.
  7. Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  8. Create engaging marketing content, including product literature, technical whitepapers, case studies, and presentations to educate customers and drive awareness of our solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field required; Technical & Marketing background preferred.
  2. Deep understanding of threading processes, machining operations, and industrial manufacturing environments required. Proven experience in technical sales and marketing roles; preferred minimum 8 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Willingness to travel up to 30% of time to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
