Plants/Sewer Lift assignment will perform preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment; perform reactive maintenance as required; pick up equipment parts from vendors; install, repair or replace functional parts and components; routinely inspect plant equipment and facilities; wash down and clean out basins as required; add grease and oil to pumps; replace air filters; operate radio; complete work orders and basic forms; perform and maintain housekeeping standards; understand basic electrical safety; operate forklift, weed-eater, and tractor/bush hog; repair fences and wooden structures; perform basic water analysis on an as needed basis.     Lucas Plant assignment - Hold or be able to obtain Class 2 Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection Certificates issued by the State of Louisiana, Dept. of Health and Hospitals within 3 years.
