Responsibilities:
- Repairing and maintaining fixtures, furniture, appliances, machinery, and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
- Performs some tasks in plumbing, electricity, and carpentry.
- Installs new equipment, as directed.
- Performs routine inspections.
- Inventories and requisitions parts, as required.
- Keeps management informed of activities, needs, and problems within the Department.
- Participates in Care Facility and Department seminars and safety lectures.
Job Type: Per Diem
Salary: $33.63 per hour
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as Mechanic in a related field
- General mechanics knowledge in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical repair, refrigeration and HVAC required
Education:
- Vocational School training with courses in Blueprint reading
- High School Diploma/GED required
