HOURLY: $13.72JOB OBJECTIVES:
Under general supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor. Will be responsible for reports, filing and recordkeeping. Several decisions are made daily requiring some interpretations and judgment. Position has little or no contact with the public.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS:
City vehicle, two-way radio, trade tools, grinder, pneumatic tools, hydraulic lift, machine to turn drums, rotors, etc.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Position may have some unusual working hours, irregular hours or shifts, may involve occasional travel. Hazards exists which may result in lost time, accident, exposure to soiling of clothing and skin surface; work involves normal weather changes. Physical effort limited to lifting up to 50 lbs; work involves standing and walking from place to place.
EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Requires a high school diploma or GED with two (2) years’ experience in hydraulics or diesel. Must be able to work with little direct supervision, in work situations which are varied or which have deviations and irregularities. Requires a valid Texas driver’s license.
