Job Description
The City of Pueblo wants to hire you as a Parts Clerk! This full-time position offers you a variety of benefits that provide a great work/life balance, a rewarding work environment, and an annual salary of $40,738.20 - $51,238.32. As Parts Clerk, you will be responsible for pickup and delivery of supply parts, data entry, inventory and stock control, maintenance of technical manuals, and issuance of special tools for a parts room which services the City fleet of light and heavy motorized equipment. Qualifications
In addition to the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above, this position requires the following:
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful, paid experience in an auto parts store, a large (200 or more) vehicle service center repair operation, or a heavy truck or equipment repair facility
  • A valid driver's license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver's license within 30 days of employment
    • License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business, such as an interlock, will be cause for disqualification
    • During the course of employment, a valid license must be maintained, and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license

Preferred requirements for this position include:
  • Mechanical experience
  • ASE parts certificate
