City of London Investment Management is Hiring an Operations Analyst Near West Chester, PA

This position is in the Operations Department (back office) of a growing global investment management firm. In this role you will be a member of the team that is responsible for the following:

  • Processing of daily trading activity
  • Analysis of data transmissions to improve efficiency and risk controls
  • Critical data set up in the primary trading systems of the firm
  • Working with various third party vendors, such as custodians, brokers, and auditors
  • Daily problem resolution and end user support
  • Reviewing and updating relevant documentation involving the firm’s systems and business processes
  • Project work as assigned, including involvement with the development team to implement custom software improvements

Qualifications:

  • Information Systems, Finance, and/or Accounting background is a plus
  • 0-2 years’ experience in the Securities Industry is a plus
  • Understanding of the Securities Industry is a plus
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications; Communications and Liberal Arts minors/majors is a plus
  • Ability to manage various tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to complete the workload in an accurate and timely manner
  • Problem solving skills
