Inspects streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, alleys and approach ways for needed repairs.
Spreads and unloads asphalt to repair minor damage.
Conducts safety and maintenance checks on equipment and machinery.
Operates a variety of street repair equipment.
Sets flagging and road barricades; directs traffic in congested areas.
Performs minor repairs on small equipment.
Loads and unloads trucks of construction materials.
Applies and / or assists with the application of pavement marking.
Applies and / or assists with the application / installation of Traffic Control devices.
Adheres to assigned work schedule as outlined in the Department and City attendance policies and procedures; ensures all behaviors comply with the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations; possesses and maintains a valid driver's license and comply with City of Killeen driving policy.
Performs all On-Call assignments as outlined in the On-Call schedule and Departmental policy,
Performs other duties as assigned.

Various equipment used in street repair (concrete saw, pick and shovel, jackhammer, chain saw, bull float, hand derby, asphalt rake, etc…) and safety equipment as required.
