MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year of nursing experience as a licensed vocational nurse is required.
Two years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a public health or related clinical setting may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Must be licensed or eligible to practice as a Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas. CPR certification required. License and CPR certification must be maintained and current for continued employment.
Must have a valid driver license and compliance with the City of Houston's policy on driving (AP 2-2).**Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with Executive Order 1-6.**Full Time
