The Human Resources Generalist performs professional and technical duties associated with various functions in the Human Resources, Civil Service and Risk Management Department. Incumbent will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. Human Resources functions include but is not limited to recruitment, training, employee relations, performance management, records management, drug testing, benefit programs and employee classification/compensation. Employees in this classification exercise judgment in accordance with regulations and established policies and typically establish priorities for their own workload. Incumbents work under the general supervision of the Human Resources Manager and/or the Director of Human Resources who evaluates performance based on results achieved.
