Responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and supporting development, execution and compliance of the department’s senior services programs, social services, and initiatives. Position supervises employees and schedules day-to-day work activities to provide optimum efficiency and productivity. Position requires a complete understanding and wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in the field of human services and social welfare programs.

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Two (2) or more years’ directly related experience providing individuals with resources and assistance in response to social service and social welfare needs; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience, including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Bilingual, preferred.
