The City of Greensboro is looking for a qualified CCTV Crew Leader within the Water Resources Department. The successful candidate uses a mobile closed circuit TV system to inspect and record existing piping systems for other personnel to review and determine corrective action needed. Use a mini push camera system to inspect sewer service laterals. Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs associated with all camera systems and equipment. Perform trenchless repairs using cure in place pipe liner on various size pipes within a collection system. Manage crew efficiency and maintains TV inspection logs. Have extensive knowledge of a wastewater collection system and its characteristics concerning its condition. Have knowledge of a mobile closed circuit TV Inspection Camera System and the ability use the system to inspect and record existing piping systems for other personnel to review and determine corrective action needed. Ability to interact and communicate effectively orally and writing. Ability to use mini push camera systems for the inspection of laterals. Have the skills necessary to perform preventive maintenance and be able to make repairs associated with all camera systems and equipment. Have knowledge and safety training in confined space. Have the ability to perform a trenchless repair using cure in place pipe liner on various size pipes within a collection system. Have the knowledge and ability to properly set up and monitor work zone safety in accordance with federal, state and local guide lines. Ability to read sewer maps and construction of sewer plans. This position is considered service critical and the employee in this position is required to report to work during inclement weather conditions. The job is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA.
