Job Description The Marketing and Project Coordinator owns communication and workflow for tourism related marketing and communications and for special projects as assigned. Ideal candidates are self-starters with strong organizational, design, and customer service skills, comfortable adapting on the fly and prioritizing their day-to-day schedule accordingly. Daily responsibilities include helping design traditional and digital marketing campaigns, communication and follow-up with local businesses and industry professionals, analyzing campaign data, engaging vendors, maintaining the Visit Gallup CRM & CMS, and ensuring campaign deliverables are on-track and on-time. For this role, it is essential that the candidate is organized, skilled with graphic design, enjoys being creative, and is able to utilize data to execute marketing and communications best practices. This position has frequent contact by telephone, in writing and in person with all levels of the City including elected officials, the executive leadership of the City, and line personnel. Additional Information BEGINNING SALARY: $23.67 P/H MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the formal education, experience and training required. High School diploma or equivalent, (GED) Associates degree in Marketing or closely related field AND/OR Three (3) or more years of marketing, graphic design, or public relations experience. Experience using Microsoft Office Valid Driver"s License. Must meet City"s insurability requirements. Other Conditions: Must pass a background check. Successful completion of marketing skills test.
