Job Description:

SUMMARY

Working under the direction of the Executive Director – Fort Wayne UNITED, the United Front Program Manager supports the United Front initiative and the United Front Advisory Committee. The United Front Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the direction, planning, implementing, and logistics for all United Front programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with the United Front Advisory Committee.
  • Coordinates and works with multiple outside vendors, partners, and suppliers.
  • Develops and manages United Front’s administrative tools. Including learning management systems, customer relationships management systems, and other ancillary systems.
  • Assists with all assigned administrative tasks.
  • Oversees and manages United Front communications, both internally and externally.
  • Manages and oversees participant tracking and learning platform(s).
  • Coordinates and works with multiple outside vendors, partners, and suppliers.
  • Directs multiple in-person, virtual, and livestream events throughout the year.
  • Manages program budgets, expense reports, sponsorships tracking, and all invoicing.
  • Drives revenue through fundraising, sponsorships, and fees for services.
  • Coordinates and oversees all United Front meetings, event logistics, agendas, presentations, and marketing materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Any combination of education/experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or four (4) years’ experience in program architecture and/or program management experience.
  • Experience with audio/video, stage production, event planning and implementation helpful but not required.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience and knowledge of implementing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategies inside organizations helpful but not required.
  • Proven expertise in building relationships with organizational, business, and system leaders.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

  • Comfort with public speaking.
  • Ability to work with all types of individuals and leadership styles including guests, keynote speakers, managers, staff, and executive level volunteers.
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings.
  • Highly organized and prioritized on the details while managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to secure resources through grants, major gifts, sponsorships, corporate giving, and other fundraising tactics.
  • A clear understanding and passion for racial diversity, inclusion, and equity work.
  • Believes in the concept of a “Shared Humanity”.
  • Has participated in the United Front initiative, if applicable.
  • Love for the Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana community.

Software Skills Required

Microsoft Suite, Zoom, Teams, CRM platforms (Ideally Salesforce), LMS platforms, basic understanding of website design.
