City of Bloomington, IN is Hiring a Seasonal Aquatics Concessions/Attendant (15 Open Positions) Near Bloomington, IN

Description

Individual assists with the operation of the pools for the City of Bloomington by assisting in the concession locations and collecting fees from patrons entering the facility.

Duties

Essential (primary)

Issues and records season pass sales and counts pass attendance and keeps accurate attendance and financial records;
Dispenses and collects baskets.
Collects money from patrons and operates the cash register.
Assists in the maintenance of a safe, healthy, and clean facility and ensures and maintains a clean, healthy and safe food service facility.
Enforces pool and bathhouse rules in a fair and consistent manner.
Works shifts in concessions location in preparing food and handling transactions in food purchases.
Cleans and maintains the facility and equipment to Health Department standards.
Prepares and distributes food to pool patrons.
Completes opening and closing duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
Working approximately 20-35 hours per week including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Season: Mid- May through September.

Job Requirements

Prior cash handling experience, preferred
Ability to attend all pertinent Department Pre-season training programs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Complies with standards set forth by State and local Health Departments with regard to food service operation.

Personal Work Relationships

Maintains a professional and positive attitude with regard to co-workers and supervisors. Answers pool phone and provides accurate information to patrons in a calm, friendly manner. In addition, answers questions over-the-counter and provides accurate information regarding pool operations and programs to patrons, in a calm friendly, manner. Performs a public relation function by positively representing the facility and the department.
