City of Barron is Hiring a Lifeguard Near Barron, WI

Lifeguard – City of Barron Outdoor Pool

Summer 2024 Season

The City of Barron is now accepting applications for lifeguards for the 2024 Summer season. This is a part-time to full-time seasonal position.

Our lifeguards are responsible for supervising a safe environment by:

· Performing all lifeguard duties, including monitoring pool and slide areas, and applying first aid, rescue, or CPR as necessary

· Ensuring safety of participants by enforcing rules and applying best aquatics supervision practices

· Conducting regular inspections of rescue and swimming assistance equipment and reporting any issues or malfunctions

Applicants must be a certified lifeguard, with current CPR and First Aid certifications. Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members are necessary.

Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 17th, 2024 and are available at www.barronwi.us or may be obtained at the Barron City Hall, 510 E. LaSalle Avenue.
