Description
This position has primary responsibility for leading the implementation, interpretation of federal, state, and district level assessments including, system setup and maintenance, and help desk support. Other roles include: maintaining records of local assessment and survey results, assists with reconciling student data and achievement accounts with the State Data System, serves as District Assessment Coordinator for State and local testing, and facilitates professional development for district staff on the use of a data warehouse and data visualization tools.
Position Duties:
Essential Job Functions:
1. Oversees data uploads and integrity for various district data systems.
•Systems integration.
•Maintenance of various database records within district systems.
•Maintenance of file records.
•Preparation of regular reporting tools.
•Preparation and editing of correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
•Coordination of internal and external information and communications such as mail, bulletins, and electronic notifications.
•Development of positive, supportive relationships with all stakeholders in the building and district (faculty, technology staff, etc.).
2. Coordinates district-level systems-related projects.
•Inputs and problem-solves with other technology, educational services, and building staff.
•Communicates with staff in other districts, when needed.
•Works collaboratively with District Services Staff.
•Collaborates with support staff for district contracted services.
3. Plans and coordinates student assessment administration across all schools as District Assessment Coordinator (DAC). This includes training of staff on assessments.
4. Facilitates review of student achievement data with administrative team members.
5. Analyzes student data including changes (growth and decline) and prepares executive summaries and other reports to summarize the current position of the school district and/or school as related to students data for district administration.
6. Establishes, modifies, documents and coordinates implementation of data collection procedures and data team processes.
7. Works closely with building staff, technology staff, and district and building administrators.
8. Effective oral and written communications as well as effective presentation and teamwork skills.
9. Effective customer service orientation.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Equivalent to Bachelor's Degree (Educational Psychology, Psychometrician) - Master's level preferred
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience.
3. Expertise Required: Advanced skills in office productivity tools (word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations, eduClimber, Qualtrics, and other data analytics tools). Expertise working with database programs similar to the District's data and management systems.
4. Professional Learning: Continuing development of professional skills knowledge and willingness to share expertise with colleagues.
