Talent Acquisition (TA) provides full lifecycle recruitment services including sourcing, selecting, hiring, and onboarding for all position types and job levels including executive, technical, administrative, seasonal, and other specialized job classifications (except uniformed, civil service positions). TA oversees job requisition management, job advertising, employment branding, screening, pre-employment assessments, as well as guiding leaders on interviewing, selection, and hiring practices.
The Office of Human Resources is hiring for a Talent Acquisition Supervisor. This position will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager and manage a team of full-cycle recruiters building diverse, talent rich teams in the city agencies they support.
We are looking for candidates interested in managing a diverse team to reach ambitious goals to apply to this position. You’ll provide the coaching, training, development, and performance management required for our recruiting teams to deliver on strategic priorities while leading full-cycle recruitment processes for critical positions in the agencies you support.

Demonstrate expertise and success in leading high-stakes talent acquisition processes

Identify areas of opportunity within current processes and develop solutions to improve efficiency
Have a track record of driving process improvements with data; leverage data to drive individual and team-wide performance and influence stakeholders
Coach, develop, advocate for, and promote team members to be able to take on increasing levels of responsibility and challenge.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and team members and be a change champion for the team and be a great negotiator
Proficiency with Workday, Excel, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Previous supervisory experience within recruitment/talent acquisition
Have excellent overall knowledge of employment laws as well as those pertaining to recruiting
