The primary responsibilities are:
Assisting in appointment scheduling
Addressing any customer issues
Obtaining customer information (vehicle data, verification of payment, and credit status checks)
Opening/closing repair orders
Writing detailed descriptions of all repairs performed
Contacting the customer immediately upon repair completion.
The Service Advisor may be required to deliver the vehicle to the customer and answer any questions they may have pertaining to the repairs made. Certain portions of the job will be clerical including filing repair orders, maintaining parts backorder files, monitoring Work In Process (WIP) reports, collecting payments, and processing reconciliation reports.
The requirements for this position are:
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED required
3 years of experience required in diesel truck repairs
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 10 pounds
