We have an exciting Leadership opportunity within our Enterprise Organization! In this Client Executive role, you will be responsible for $200M in global revenue and will partner with Cisco Services to formulate and drive an all-encompassing focus across the full solution life cycle. You will have direct responsibility for the product and services strategy and execution, reporting to the Americas Global Enterprise Premier Area Vice President.

Global Enterprise Segment Strategy & Execution Priorities
  • You'll be developing and executing growth strategies and an action plan to maximize Cisco's opportunity.
  • You will have booking and expense responsibilities and be accountable for solid long-term business decisions (including people development, customer loyalty, and balancing short-term business issues within Cisco against long-term goals).
Customer Engagement & Accountability
  • Develop and manage relationships with the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to be able to relate product/solution to business value.
  • The CD spends up to 50% of their time with the customer and is the primary influencer in the customer's decision to invest.
Financial Performance
  • You'll have responsibility for financial performance - exceeding bookings goal (by geography, architecture and vertical), managing operating expense (Opex) goal, and maintaining forecast accuracy, providing visibility and in-depth knowledge into numbers (customer insights, macro/micro trends, consumption models).
Team Development
  • You will build a winning team - Strategically leading and influencing your own sales team along with integrated cross-functional teams. You will be attracting, developing, and retaining high performance Account Team talent (career development, coaching, performance management and hiring).

You will work with Cisco field account managers, systems engineers, and partners to plan sales strategy, develop proposals, and deliver customer presentations. We focus on contributing to the long-term success of Cisco by building strong customer relationships.

Who You Are
  • BA degree - MBA or graduate degree preferred.
  • 10 years of management roles selling solutions to senior executives at named accounts.
  • Experience in Cisco technologies and experience selling enterprise technology in a fast-paced and competitive market.
  • Business Development and strategy experience required.
  • Passionate about customer experience and excited about new technology.
  • Curious, detailed orientated, highly motivated, self-starter. You are a strong collaborator and comfortable with ambiguity and driving change.
  • Technical and customer-facing skills that will deliver extraordinary solutions to the world's biggest companies. You'll partner with and influence executive level managers, as critical strategic decisions are made for the business.
  • 2 years of experience as a Client Director or equivalent role with validated multi-million-dollar sales solutions experience and Executive level relationship management.
  • Previous sales experience in IT Service Management or IT Operations Management (within software or IT sales organizations).
  • Driven - possesses a strong desire to be successful.
  • Disciplined - skilled in managing time and resources, sound approach to qualifying opportunities.
  • Intelligent - learns quickly and establishes credibility.
  • Lead the selling strategy creating short- and long-term plans based on research and a deep understanding of business and technology trends.
  • Experience articulating value propositions.
  • Consistent track record handling significant revenue responsibility and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals.
  • Strong executive presence, polish, and political savvy
  • Strong thought leadership: think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.
  • Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing a sales organization for 50 people.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade - using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way.
  • Responsible for renewals and upsells with a defined set of Nexthink largest existing accounts.
  • Oversee executive relationship management for assigned accounts and lead virtual teams, including Solution Sales, Solution Consulting, Support, and Professional Services, in supporting our most esteemed clients.
  • Provide strategic leadership to clients.
  • Work with the greater Nexthink solution teams to develop a Nexthink solution based on the customer's strategic outcomes.
  • Manage all Executive relationships between Nexthink and assigned clients.
  • Oversee worldwide development of assigned accounts, including the development and deployment of worldwide resources.
  • Build trust and deep multi-tiered relationships through assigned clients' organization, from project/IT teams to CxO level.
  • Develop a clear roadmap and build capabilities across our clients and Nexthink teams to promote an outstanding customer experience.
  • Achieve financial targets for the assigned clients, including Licenses, Renewals, and Professional Services.
