FINANCE INTERN job summary:

The Finance Intern is responsible for supporting the financial reporting and analysis and accounts payable for the Circle K Global Food Group. This position reports directly to the Finance Director of Global Food.

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities and requirements:

FINANCE INTERN job duties & responsibilities:

• Support the production of daily, weekly and periodic financial and metric reporting; including P&Ls, inventory and labor statistics
• Supports accounts payable by verifying transaction information, entering data including direct entry to the accounting system, PO matching, work order matching.
• Ensures integrity of data by researching and reconciling data variances; corrects, deletes or re-enters data.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Finance Director. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• All other job duties as necessary.

FINANCE INTERN QUALIFICATIONS:

• Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount for this role
• Critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Resourceful, creative and works with a sense of urgency.
• Self-starter that learns quickly and can navigate a fast-paced environment, but not afraid to ask questions or ask for help.
• Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to collaborate and build meaningful internal and external relationships to help drive results.

FINANCE INTERN EDUCATION AND requirements:

• Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related field
• Familiar with standard financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
