Sales and Marketing Specialist (Hybrid)

BUSINESS UNIT: Sandwire Technology Group

FUNCTION: Sales

REPORTS TO: President

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

LOCATION: Farmingdale, NY 11735

EDUCATION: Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred

EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ experience preferred

Who We Are Looking For

We are searching for a highly motivated and dedicated Sales and Marketing Specialist who has experience supporting technology solutions within a team environment. This individual must be able to network in the community and have an interest in the ever-changing world of technology.

Our ideal candidate thrives in an innovative and agile environment, is a go-getter who works collaboratively and partners across matrixed teams to plan, to implement and support our sales function. This role will be responsible for creation and delivery of marketing materials, managing projects and ensuring company messages and branding are consistent to drive lead generation to increased sales and grow brand awareness.

What You’ll Accomplish and Experience

  • Responsible for researching, interpreting, and guiding marketing strategies for products and services offered by company.
  • Create concepts and content for marketing material, including collateral, social posts, catalogs, sales kits, website, etc.
  • Manage the marketing material creation process, working with internal and external graphic design teams and agencies.
  • Formulate, develop, and execute marketing campaigns to generate leads and sales.
  • Report out ROI on campaigns and trade show investments.
  • Ensure marketing strategy for a product/service align with overall company brand.
  • Incorporate the branding guidelines to all internal and external marketing communication.
  • Coordinate, collaborate and mentor with other marketing specialists, consultants, vendors, and adverting agencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong market relationships.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation for conferences, trade shows and external/internal client events.
  • Generate creative solutions and approaches to issues and organizational processes.
  • Manage performance to achieve expected results.
  • Actively demonstrate reliability by maintaining a consistent work schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Desirable Previous Experience

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to conduct research and analyze data.
  • Familiarity with Adobe marketing and creative programs.
  • Familiarity with SEO, web traffic and marketing conversion metrics.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing is preferred.
  • Excellent copywriting ability and attention to detail.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders and maintain focus on.
  • Ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to be creative and pivot as the market needs change.
  • Strong organizational skill set.
  • Dedicated customer service and support.
  • Passion for helping people and creating a positive customer experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate support and enthusiasm for change and innovation.
  • Ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities even with limited information, and make appropriate and timely decisions.
