Maintenance Technician (Entry Level) - 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician (Entry Level) will play a key role in 2nd shift operations. The right candidate should have a basic understanding of electricity and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Basic understanding of industrial electronics, hydraulics/pneumatic, and interpretation of blueprints and Schematic. The position is open & available for immediate hire. It is a full-time (40 hrs/wk), second-shift position (3pm - 1:30a) that is based at Circle's manufacturing headquarters (no remote work option).

Primary Accountability: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for Equipment Maintenance

• Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery and equipment used in beverage production.

• Address issues related to production lines, conveyors, filling machines, and packaging equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.

• Quality Assurance:

• Inspect and maintain quality control systems within the production line.

• Collaborate with production teams to promptly address any equipment-related quality issues.

• Emergency Repairs:

• Respond swiftly to breakdowns or malfunctions during production hours.

• Diagnose problems, replace faulty components, and restore equipment functionality.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments.

• Report any safety hazards or potential risks to supervisors.

• Inventory Management:

• Document usage of spare parts inventory and supplies.

• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of critical components.

• Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and electrical systems.

• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with other maintenance team members, vendors, and production staff.

• Assist in training new operators/technicians as required.

What experience are we looking for?

• Eligible to work in the USA.

• Prior Food for Beverage manufacturing experience desired.

• Experience in HACCP and SQF Food Safety Systems is preferred but not required.

• Proven track record of your dedication to prioritizing safety and quality and working collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and conduct physical work and movement for a 10-hour work shift

• Experience as a skilled production operator on can fillers, pasteurizers, sleevers, tray packers, and shrink bundlers is required. 

• You will supply your own basic hand tools. The company provides any specialized tools.
