Shift Schedule- 2nd: 3p-11p & 3rd: 11p-7a
RESPONSIBILITES / DUTIES: Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Understand the principles and applications of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Complete familiarity with the NEC as they pertain to the facility
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Have the ability to make red line drawings and sketches
- Diagnose and trouble shoot and correct electrical and mechanical problems
- Have performed major overhauls on equipment and transmissions
- Perform all prescribed preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
- Actively participates in company safety programs to include safety inspections, safety observations, JSA risk assessments as required
- Fulfills electrician or mechanic duties on the Fire Brigade / Haz -Mat teams
- Operates safely all related shop equipment
- Maintains neat and organized documentation and inputs Work Orders into a CMMS
- Operates fork lifts and yard equipment to support plant emergencies
- Must be flexible, energetic and self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must work in a SAFE manner and have knowledge of LO/TO and other Safety related processes
- Must have excellent communication skills, team skills, and leadership capability
- Work must meet high standards of competent craftsmanship and professionalism in terms of quality, proficiency, quantity, efficiency and material utilization All other related duties as required

- Conditions include exposure to constant or intermittent noise. Ear plugs are required.
EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- Education/Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Language Ability: Must have excellent communication skills
- Math Ability: Proficient mathematical skills
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to systematically work through problems, can work with deadlines individually or as part of a team
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
