Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' social and emotional needs - Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings - Provide counseling and support to individuals and families - Connect clients with community resources and services - Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the healthcare system - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care - Supervise and mentor social work interns or junior staff members - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field - Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker - Previous experience in social work or a related field preferred - Knowledge of social service programs such as Section 8, child welfare, workforce development, Medicare, etc. - Familiarity with behavioral health issues and treatment modalities - Strong crisis management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively with diverse populations - Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques - Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care Please note that all positions at our organization are paid positions.
