Christopher's Reason is a substance use disorder facility that specializes in treating those who struggle with addiction. We are a fully operating OASAS 822 Outpatient clinic staffed with a full medical, clinical, and peer support team. We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor Licensed and/or Limited Permit experienced with SUD and co-occurring disorders to join our team. The ideal candidate who can provide professional mental health evaluations and cultivate treatment plans for clients with mental health and SUD issues. The position is full time and salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Please provide certificates and references along with your resume. Job Responsibilities:

• Proven work experience as a Mental Health Counselor or similar role.
• Perform mental health, substance abuse, and other risk assessments in accordance with program policies and procedures and OASAS standards.
• Holds and maintains required certification(s) and completes required continuing education.
• Ability to work effectively with complex patients, both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Evaluating clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.
• Provide individual counseling sessions, facilitate groups, provide appropriate referrals when necessary, and coordinate services.

Qualifications:

• LMHC, Licensed Mental Health Counselor
• MHC-LP, Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit
• Master's Degree
• Well-versed in substance use disorder
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills both verbal and written
• Maintain excellent punctuality and dependability skills
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
