Who You Are:

As part of our dynamic finance team, we are actively seeking a skilled and experienced General Ledger Accountant to manage comprehensive accounting functions. The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the retail and e-commerce accounts receivable process, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.

What You'll Do:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform regular and meticulous reconciliation of general ledger accounts to subsidy accounts including but not limited to A/P, A/R, inventory, sales etc.
• Address and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, maintaining the integrity of financial records.

2. Bank Reconciliation

• Oversee the reconciliation of bank statements, tracking transactions and ensuring accuracy in cash flow management.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to bank activities.

3. Balance Sheet Management

• Maintain the integrity of the balance sheet by accurately recording transactions and ensuring a sound financial position.
• Monitor and report on the health of key balance sheet accounts

4. Month end/Year end closing

• To perform the proper month-end and year-end closing and respect the deadline.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and analyses for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business implications and contribute to financial planning.

Base salary range: $70K – 80K (based on the experience).

Annual bonus: 10% of annual salary.
