GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT, Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyzing and reconciling intercompany account balances
• Analyzing clearing accounts and follow-up with other department divisions for final resolution.
• Tracking transactions related to pending acquisitions and associated interest calculation.
• Preparing check/wire requests to clear reconciling items.
• Executing Ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Assisting as needed with bank rec cleanup.

REQUIREMENTS

Required skills and other personal characteristics.

• Well-versed in double-entry accounting, able to independently create journal entries.
• Ability to read and analyze a complex general ledger.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting.
• Excellent Excel skills
• Knowledge of MRI real estate accounting software is preferred.
• Accounting degree and 3 years real estate accounting experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
