Front Office Receptionist

We have an immediate opening for an experienced front office receptionist in a small, growing local public CPA firm in Flagstaff. Applicant must possess a high level of professionalism and effective decision-making abilities. The position is permanent, full-time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be reliable and willing to work full time week day business hours, with some overtime expected during busy seasons.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task

  • Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills

  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

  • Ability to work a multi-line telephone system

  • General computer hardware/software knowledge preferred

  • Technology Savvy - Experience with QuickBooks, Excel and other Cloud-based applications helpful

  • Initiative

  • Reliability

  • Stress tolerance

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and make sure they are comfortable (offer water, coffee or tea if necessary)

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials

  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

  • Create office supplies list and keep inventory of stock

  • Update office calendars and schedule meetings

  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

  • Printing and compiling tax documents during tax season

  • Hand out and process employee applications

  • Prepare correspondence and documents

Our work environment is friendly and comfortable, yet very professional. You will have a heavy spring-time work schedule during tax season.
