Registered Nurse (RN) - 5N Medical Unit

FT - Day Shift. Holidays and Weekends - per the department guidelines.

Christiana Care - Wilmington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 5N Medical Unit.

In this role, we work closely to deliver care that supports adult patients facing an acute illness. The patient population, for this unit are adults, typically ages 18 and above. Our focus is maintaining function, providing education, and maintaining safety! As a member of the 5N team you will engage in a true relationship-based care model, building relationships with patients and families as well as with your peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.

Our Nurses will assist in managing a team of 5 medical patients per shift and work with the interdisciplinary team that includes a unit-based Nurse Practitioner, both an attending and consulted physicians, pharmacy, physical therapy, and other assistive personnel.

Requirements:

• BSN preferred.
• Commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
• At least one year med/surg experience as a RN.
• BLS required.
