We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and nurturing respite care provider. A respite care provider offers a safe place, and environment for a child with special needs to stay in for a short time while their primary guardian tend to other duties or time that the child cannot attend. This provider must be willing to open their home to a special needs child for a stay up to 48 hours up to 2 weekends a month. Pay can range depending on length of stay.

Duties may include but are not limited to

-bathing a client

-personal cares on a client

-transportation

-medication reminders

-meal prep

-engagement in activities.

Requirements are

- valid drivers license and reliable vehicle

-a home that is safe for a child with special needs and has adequate space for play and sleeping arrangements.

-no other kids in the home

-1 or more years experience working with kids or adults with special needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.34 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
