Summary/Objective

The Manager of Business Intelligence & Analytics will support Senior Management by synthesizing complex information and creating meaningful reporting and interpretation. This position is a critical link in the information chain as accuracy and application of analytical principles will impact spending and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Senior Management Team providing decision support on the highest priority strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Manage Financial Analyst.
• Monitor business trends and provide ongoing support to all organizational levels & segments.
• Deliver detailed analysis to justify large capital expenditures, reduce costs through improved processes and efficiencies, and identify trends in the business.
• Assists in the development of monthly forecasts, annual financial plans, and long-range growth plans.
• Executes daily/weekly reporting for Senior Management.
• Perform special project work and ad-hoc financial reporting as required.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CMA, or CPA desired.
• 5-7 plus years of progressive financial systems experience in a mid-size to large company.
• Managerial and or leadership experience highly desired.
• Proficient in the use of financial/accounting systems.
• Past experience reporting and data mining with SQL, Microsoft Access, or other database solutions is highly desired.
• Retail and manufacturing experience preferred.
