Summary/Objective

The Business Analyst will support Rutter’s by synthesizing complex information and creating meaningful reporting and interpretation. This position is a critical link in the information chain as accuracy and application of analytical principles will impact spending and strategic decisions. 

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis supporting financial improvements across Rutter’s companies.
• Monitor business trends and provide ongoing support to all organizational levels & segments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and/or monthly financial/business reports.
• Assists in the development of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range growth plans.
• Perform special project work and ad-hoc financial reporting as required.
• Provide management reports based on functional areas of responsibility.
• Identify expense areas, make recommendations for cost reductions.
• Develop and implement solutions for capturing and reporting information.
• Perform special project work and ad-hoc financial reporting as required.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems or Business Administration.
• 2-4 years of experience in Data/Financial Analysis is preferred.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
• Excellent data mining skills with advanced Microsoft Excel modeling preferred.
