Choreo is Hiring a Remote Vice President of Advisor Growth Marketing

It is an exciting time to be part of Choreo! We are expanding our senior Marketing leadership and seeking a Vice President of Advisor Growth Marketing.

This is a new role, with a broad mandate. It requires creative and nimble thinking, and an individual who can think strategically and implement tactically. You’ll focus on developing and executing content and marketing strategies designed to expand Choreo’s vision to serve as the preferred wealth partner to the tax professional community. Your expertise in marketing strategy and content development will span traditional and digital media. You will support our organic growth objectives by optimizing content across multiple platforms to drive engagement, lead generation, education, and retention, and work directly with our advisors to grow and nurture their practices. Because this position will build and manage marketing strategies that drive client acquisition and retention, candidates should have demonstrable experience in both the B2B and B2C wealth management sectors, with emphasis on the CPA and tax professional industry.

The VP Marketing will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with various line of business leaders and stakeholders across the organization to help define goals and deliver customer experiences that achieve desired business growth outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Lead the creation and execution of end-to-end content marketing strategies that materially grow brand awareness and engagement. Refine strategies to maximize thought leadership via blogs, podcasts, seminars, networking events and speaking opportunities.
  • Create, plan and execute editorial calendars to support national and regional campaigns, spanning insights, trends, proprietary research, reports, client storytelling, and solutions-focused content.
  • Ensure Choreo’s thought leadership, intellectual capital and persuasive messaging drive engagement, brand awareness and action.
  • Support regional advisor leadership in developing strategic marketing plans and oversee their execution.
  • Help promote and optimize Choreo’s new Education and Financial Literacy Platform, providing wealth and financial education to multiple constituents, including tax and professional services partners, advisors and employees.
  • Leverage performance metrics to understand what content resonates, by topic/theme, message, channel, and format and use learnings to inform future campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with VP Digital to leverage website and social media channels to build audience and attract prospects. Help ensure that marketing automations are optimally designed to move customers from awareness to conversion.
  • Effectively communicate the impact of marketing campaigns to internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report on real-time performance metrics.
  • Understand data analytics and extract useful or actionable information using strong problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the company’s business objectives to help achieve organic and inorganic business growth goals.
  • Help unlock value from internal and external data to inform decisions, recommend course corrections, help predict outcomes, and prescribe actions to enable and drive strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of related marketing experiencein financial services, with strong emphasis on the tax and professional services community
  • 10 years of B2B and B2B2C campaign and demonstrated growth marketing success.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with technical and creative teams, as well as with various lines of business leaders, to define requirements and execute strategies.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and excellent research capabilities; self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of special projects.
  • Manage relationships and work closely with agency and vendor partners, as necessary.
  • Able to operate with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Officeand Salentica Environment
  • Experience with Power BI preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree marketing, communications or a related field, MBA preferred.

Expected annual salary ranges from $165,000 to $180,000 plus incentive compensation. Salary is negotiable based on location, experience, and qualifications.
