The Robinson Counseling Center’s Substance Use Disorder Program (SUD-Program) which provides Adult Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well collectively as a treatment team member. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn and help others, the Adult Substance Abuse Therapist/Counselor position is right for you. This team member will be fully trained in daily activities and report to the Director of the Substance Use Disorder Program or designee.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or above from an accredited college or university, with a Major in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other related field which includes a practicum in a Health or Human Services agency
Certification as an addictions counselor by statewide certification body is also acceptable
One year of experiencing working with individuals with a substance use disorder is preferred
Must pass Safe Crisis Management Training (physical and theory), upon hire and then annually as a condition of employment. Other requirements include:
