Provides support to the Child Health Advocacy Institute's Community Mental Health team, a multi-organizational partnership, with a particular focus on community-based research and engagement. Works collaboratively with the project team to improve health, mental health, education and other outcomes for all children in Washington, DC. Engages with community, education and/or healthcare leaders, direct service providers, and families to improve the city's system of support for families, and promote positive and healthy development of children.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree In related field preferred (e.g., public health, public policy, psychology, education (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
3 years Experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team (Required)
Required Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of community-based and healthcare service delivery systems
Ability to think creatively and strategically
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to multi-task and work pro-actively and independently within a fast-paced, dynamic setting
Skill working with culturally diverse patient, staff and community populations
Strong understanding of program evaluation methodologies
Strong organizational and project management skills
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis and statistical software.
