The Manager of Anatomic Pathology will be responsible for the coordination, planning, overseeing and monitoring of the daily activities in the anatomic pathology laboratory. Additionally, the manager is responsible for the development of the employee team (training, competency, ongoing education and positive work environment), development and management of the safety plan, high quality results output, fiscal responsibility, introduction of new assays and methodologies as needed for clinical care and maintenance of regulatory processes (to include College of American Pathologist accreditation). The Manager of Anatomic Pathology will be responsible for managing personnel involved with histology, grossing, molecular diagnostics, and those in administrative capacities. They will work with the Medical Director and Chief to maintain quality control and improve care to patients by supervising and coordinating different areas to achieve this goal.
