Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, Ambulatory Services, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with project planning, the coordination of all aspects of project implementation, ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints, all in keeping with the values of Children's National Hospital. All aspects of project development fall under the purview of the Senior Project Manager; including identifying project resources, appropriate personnel, preparation of budgets, developing measures of success, identifying risk, monitoring progress, and reporting to key stakeholders regarding project status. The Senior Project Manager is capable of overseeing multiple, asynchronous projects of wide complexity and scope, and assists with the delegation to and coordination of subordinate leaders on each project. The Senior PM uses an array of data systems and reporting tools to identify project goals, progress and successful completion, and is able to build and display understandable visual representations of the data to convey this information to key stakeholders across the enterprise.
