Children's Hospital Association is Hiring a Remote Event Services Manager

Job Description:

Become a champion for children’s health with a career at CHA. We serve with purpose and passion to help 220 member children’s hospitals improve kids’ health and well-being.

Where You’ll Work

This position is based in our Lenexa, Kansas. office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the following aspects of meeting planning: document management, registration, logistics, travel, room list management, off-site activity management, ground transportation, on-site management and support.
  • Plan and manage meeting and conference logistics, including RFP (request for proposal) process, deploying and communicating logistics information, and serving as the primary interface between CHA and venue.
  • Manage event budgets, contract negotiations and invoices to ensure fiscal responsibility and accuracy.
Required Experience:


What You’ll Bring to CHA

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ project management experience in event and meeting management
  • Minimum of three years’ managing or leading a team in event coordination/meeting planning for large conferences and meetings.
  • Strong personal computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, experience with conference registration systems preferred
  • Experience in contract negotiations
  • An eye for detail and strong project management skills
