Children's Home Society is currently seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds in accordance with the organization’s mission statement and core values.

What You'll Do:

Your responsibilities as a Seasonal Groundskeeper would include:

• Cut, care for and maintain all grassy areas on the property.
• Care for all the trees on the property, including watering, fertilizing and trimming.
• Regularly inspect the property for damage and report problems to the Facilities Supervisor.
• Perform minor maintenance work; such as, painting, woodworking and repairs.
• Assist the Facilities Worker with duties.
• Attend maintenance team meetings.

Schedule

Monday-Friday: Daytime hours (flexible schedule)

Compensation: $20.00/hr

Requirements

Experience/Education/Skills:

High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires standing for extended periods of time. Some exposure to cleaning chemicals, requiring attentive and safe utilization.
