Children's Home Society of South Dakota is Hiring a Clinical Director Near Sioux Falls, SD

Children’s Home Society is currently seeking a Clinical Director to oversee and manage the clinical operations and provision services with the Outpatient Therapy department.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support personnel.
  • Provide professional licensure supervision for individuals seeking advancing licensure.
  • Ensure the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic services in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop, implement, and evaluate outpatient therapy programs and services.
  • Design care modalities and therapeutic interventions that are supportive of the CHS trauma informed model.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor clinical staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clinical documentation and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, including community partners, other healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the budget for the outpatient therapy program.
  • Provide clinical supervision to therapists and counselors as needed.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 annually (depending on education and experience.)

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. 
  • Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW PIP). 
  • Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient therapy. Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and relevant regulations. 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Normal office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, etc. Extended PC viewing and keyboarding required. Extended periods of sedentary work required. 

 Must successfully complete all required background/pre-employment checks. EEO/AA.
