The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources has been making a difference since 1979 by providing community, school based substance misuse prevention, education programs, and peer recovery support services.
Responsibilities:
To implement evidence based substance abuse prevention and education curriculums aimed at reducing substance use and abuse among youth, adults, families, and older adults living in Bergen and Passaic Counties in school and community settings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to facilitating school, family, and community based programs, preparing materials for programs and presentations, maintaining good relationships with community partners and funders, and keeping detailed records and reports. Some evenings and occasional weekends are required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
The Center for Alcohol & Drug Resources (TCADR), a program of Children’s Aid and Family Services (CAFS), a nonprofit corporation located in Bergen County NJ, serving all of Bergen County is seeking an individual for full-time employment. TCADR provides prevention education about substance abuse to the community. TCADR has been a proven leader in the prevention of substance abuse prevention and education for more than 35 years.
