    The Position:

    We are seeking a Vice President of Operations and Business Development to join our executive management team. This position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for developing and implementing new business opportunities /revenue streams; overseeing the day-to-day operations; and enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure that will allow CFGC to continue to grow and fulfill its mission. This position is primarily responsible for the overall direction, support, management and oversight of the Center’s Information Technology, Facilities, and Corporate Development Departments. Directs, coordinates, and participates in activities of personnel engaged in the aforementioned departments by performing the duties listed below.

    What You’ll Do

    • Oversees the operations of the Information Technology, Facilities, and Corporate Development departments in a collaborative and supportive manner.
    • Establishes and implements successful strategies, achievable short- and long-range measurable goals, objectives and policies within assigned departments.
    • Oversees and coordinates the development, design and improvement of processes and methods within assigned departments and across center-wide operations.
    • Responsible for ensuring that facilities, IT, Development and operation departments function in compliance with CARF standards.
    • Provides oversight and direction to the Corporate Development department including setting internal/external strategic goals for fundraising, communication, and community support in collaboration with executive management and the Board of Directors.
    • Develops and implements operations plans for new contracts including coordination of all involved divisions and departments to ensure a coordinated approach to implementation of new lines of service.
    • In collaboration with other members of the Board of Directors and executive team, establishes short-and long- term goals for the Corporate Development department, oversees and monitors their operation and progress toward their goals ensuring that they are consistent with Center’s mission and strategic plan.
    • Facilitates, negotiates and coordinates all facility leases, rentals, building permits.
    • Facilitates and coordinates all legal matters impacting the Center in collaboration with outside attorneys, Executive Management, the Board of Directors where relevant and our insurance carriers.
    • Maintains all Operations and Safety documentation and policies and procedures in compliance with CARF and CalOSHA standards.
    • Hours: Full-time: minimum 40 hours per week.
    • Hybrid work option is available.
    • Starting Salary: $140,000 - $180,000

    Qualifications

    • 5 to 10 years in an executive or senior managerial experience (in behavioral health care setting preferred.) Demonstrated ability to lead and be an effective leader. Specialized training/experience in project management, strategic planning, vendor management, budgeting a plus
    • In-depth knowledge of or experience with the organization’s functional area (non-profit community mental health care), business strategies and goals.
    • Strong operational expertise and excellent project management skills.
    • Skilled ability to provide business needs analysis and strategic planning with senior staff
    • Excellent planning, prioritization, problem-solving and critical thinking skills using data-driving decision-making.
    • Superior leadership, management and interpersonal skills
    • Superior written and oral communication skills including public speaking/public relations.
    • Bachelor’s degree required. M.B.A. or related advanced degree preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
