About the Role:

Chief is seeking an Email Marketing Manager who will own email campaigns and email databases. This role will work in collaboration with our growth, membership, and enterprise teams to ensure that email campaigns and programs support team and company goals. 

This role will be responsible for managing the tech and operations of our lead management program as well as execution, reporting, and operations of all email marketing campaigns. You’ll help bring marketing campaigns to life while also measuring and evaluating their performance and ROI.

What you’ll do: 

• Work collaboratively with Growth/Brand Marketing/B2B teams to design and deploy email marketing campaigns that nurture prospects, grow awareness, and deliver a positive customer journey.
• Become an expert in our marketing email system and help identify and/or troubleshoot any issues and fixes
• Use dashboards and monitor marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and marketing-sourced leads across the entire funnel, from lead acquisition source through retention working closely with sales operations.
• Create processes among key stakeholders to enable scale while continuing to hold a high-quality bar.
• Assess, develop, and enforce system governance policies. Proactively address potential issues with deliverability, automation, or data quality.(GDPR/ CASL/ CPPA/ ETC.)

What you’ve done and enjoy doing:

• Expertise creating and executing email programs for a large scale business
• Portfolio of creative and beautiful emails that you have contributed to optimizing and measuring impact for
• Trained in email systems, marketing automation, and associated technology, especially Marketo
• Strong project manager with a track record of formulating solutions and implementing new processes and technologies to meet needs and drive growth
• Strong communication skills and interest in growing relationship across functions
• Marketo Certified (plus)
• Knowledge and experience using HTML and APIs (plus)
• Advanced technical skills (plus)
• Design, creative, or copy background (plus)
