As a Chick-fil-A Front of House Team Leader, you play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional customer service and efficiency. You will serve as a role model for the team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment while upholding Chick-fil-A's values and standards. Your leadership and customer-focused mindset will contribute to the success of the restaurant and the satisfaction of our guests.
What You Will Do:
● Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs, and ensuring a positive dining experience for every guest. Interact with customers, taking orders, answering questions, and demonstrating the highest level of hospitality. ● Team Supervision: Supervise and direct FOH team members, by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring proper staffing levels.
● Shift Management: Oversee daily shift operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift transitions, and managing breaks to ensure seamless service. Cover shift for your day of responsibility if a same day call off occurs.
● Order Accuracy and Collaboration: Collaborate with the BOH team to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery, resolving any discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with other team leaders and managers to ensure smooth operations and effective communication between front and back of house.
● Performance Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching, feedback and training to FOH team members to enhance their skills and performance.
● Conflict Resolution: Address customer concerns, complaints, and conflicts with professionalism and a customer-centric approach, striving to find effective solutions. Conduct disciplinary conversations as needed.
● Team Development: Identify opportunities for team members' growth and development, recommending them for additional training, advancement, or leadership roles.
● Cash Handling: Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Chick-fil-A's policies.
● Hygiene and Appearance: Set the example and ensure team members uphold hygiene and appearance standards, including uniform compliance, cleanliness, and proper grooming.
● Health and Safety: Monitor the FOH area for cleanliness, safety hazards, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
