The Catering Director is responsible for marketing and executing all aspects of catering sales. This position will be require a highly personal and professional individual who embodies and displays hospitality towards guests and team members.

Catering Director Responsibilities:

• Takes initiative to contact and engage with local businesses to grow catering sales
• Oversees operational excellence in regards to catering quality and timing, including larger pickup orders
• Communicates with key leaders and team members to ensure proper planning and execution of catering orders
• Executes all catering deliveries during scheduled hours. When unable to personally execute a delivery, communicates with team to ensure a trained team member is able to execute it for them.
• Equips and trains team with necessary skills to perform catering operations at a high level
• Seeks to create catering experiences that communicate care and joy to create word of mouth marketing
• Provides any necessary resources to team in order to enhance performance
• Takes full ownership for all catering performance in the restaurant, whether positive or negative
• Shift management - Director will be expected to lead operations of the business while simultaneously coaching and directing team
• Acts as primary account manager for all guest-facing communications
• Handles all catering-related guest recovery to retain guest loyalty
• Handles all catering relationships and orders in compliance with the Chick-fil-A Raving Fans strategy
• Active member of our high performance leadership team meetings (biweekly)
• Brings relevant data that show performance improvement
• Collaborates with other leaders to determine appropriate action items that move us toward our overall goals

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Candidate must display our core characteristics (Happiness, Humility, Hunger, Heart for others, and Hustle)
• Candidate must love the opportunity to work with and develop young workers
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have reliable transportation
• Must have a drive for excellence (Diligent and Detail-Oriented)
• Passion for leadership
• Lead from the front: Leaders must be hands-on in leading operations
• Must be willing to work mid-shifts or evening shifts
• Must be willing to work 3 to 4 Saturdays per month
