As a Landscape Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with our clientele, supervising and scheduling our crew members and assisting the department manager. You will be the face of the company ensuring our company’s values and customer service standards are consistently achieved. Your focus will be on providing quality services, building and maintaining long term relationships with our residential/commercial accounts and ensuring the performance of our crew members.

Job Responsibilities

• Respond to all customer needs, issues and concerns, in a timely manner
• Prepare and present estimates/proposals to new or existing clients.
• Develop crew members schedule and assist in completing daily work of applying fertilizer and herbicide to residential and commercial properties
• Diagnose and provide solutions for common lawn problems
• Collaborate with department manager to accomplish goals and objectives
• Attend company and department meetings as required
• Maintain equipment (Backpack Sprayers, Spreaders, and Tanks), vehicles and ensure all safety protocols are meet
• Perform other duties as required by department manager

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, but not required
• Prior experience in the landscape industry preferred
• Horticulture related education or certification is a plus
• Plant identification and turf knowledge is a plus
• Ability to learn industry specific software quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Bilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
