Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. Schedule flexible from 15-20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and experience with various financial tasks. Perform general bookkeeping work in the maintenance of revenue, costs, and other financial records. Duties include, but are not limited to maintaining financial records, processing checks, tracking account receivables, making deposits, and posting of deposits; processing and entering invoices into accounting system; prepare checks for payment; tracking contract revenue; prepare, post, and record cash deposits to general ledger ; tracking and preparing employee reimbursements for Flexible Benefit Plan; preparation of expense and expenditure reports; and researching and resolving discrepancies in accounts, including revenue, contracts, and credit card bills.

Skills:

- Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of budgeting processes.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation.
- Ability to perform account analysis effectively.
- Familiarity with Acumatica, Dynamics or similar financial software.

Minimum Employment Standards:

1) Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or two years’ experience in general bookkeeping, accounts payable, benefits, payroll and accounting or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position

2) Advanced to intermediate accounting software experience, Microsoft Word, Excel, and recordkeeping principles

Pay: $19.29 - $23.23 per hour
