Service Porter
The Service Department at Chastang Ford is growing and we need more great people for our amazing team. Our service Drivers are often the Face of the Service Department and play one of the most critical roles in the dealership. The Service Driver is an hourly employee who greets customers, transports customers and vehicles from home or business locations to the shop, and keeps the lot and shop orderly and clean.

THE POSITION:
We are to maintain the trust of our customers. We should make sure that while their vehicle is in our shop we are careful to maintain the integrity of that vehicle. Make sure that doors are locked, windows rolled up and parked in a secure area.
- Ensure the parking lot remains organized
- Assist technicians with parking and bringing vehicles in for service.
- Ensure vehicles on the service drive are parked in a prompt manner.
- Bring vehicles from the parking lot to the service drive for customer delivery.
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles to and from the facility
- Ensure the shop and parking lot remain clean
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to drive and operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly to communicate with others.
- Must be able to ascend and descend a step ladder.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to regularly lift and exert up to 50 pounds of force in order to carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to climb into and out of medium-duty trucks
- Must be able to perform job functions outside when it rains

Chastang Ford is located in Houston, TX approximately one-mile East of I-69 on the 610 North Loop East.
